I have a 95 Mustang GT that I bought with aftermarket low-profile tires on it. I would like to know if anybody on here would have any idea what size tires came stock on the car. I have been totally threw the car and there is nothing on the door posts or the doors. If it helps the VIN number is 1FALP42T8SF175240

thank you very much for any information you might be able to offer me.

225/55/r16 will also work. Just don't switch them up too much then your speedo will be off.

He didn't state that he had 16" rims - weren't 17" rims an option on GT's? And of course, the rims may not really be stock, or they are OEM Ford but didn't come with his GT.

kelray85, can you tell us the size tires you have on your rims now? We can tell the rim size from that.

I bet he has something like 18's or maybe even 19's. Just my thought when I hear 'aftermarket low profile'.

16" was standard, 17" was an option.

The 16" were 225/55 or 60/16... the 17" were 245/45/17.

IIRC the tire information sticker is in the glove box...
