When I start my car stone cold it seems to idle just fine but when it gets up to temp the car won't idle. It will slowly get worse and worse then eventually die. I just replaced the mafs since the car wouldn't rev before with the bad one but now it revs fine and has good power. The car will not stall if I'm driving it normally but if I could to a stop it will stall. Any ideas? IAC? Theres no CEL present

I should add that I removed the upper intake manifold to try and hunt down a problem by replacing the injectors but I reused the plenum gasket and the egr gasket, I know this might cause an intake leak but I would think it would idle bad from the get go now when the car warms up

UPDATE: I check TPS voltage and it was only at .26 Could this be my problem? I know its supposed to be at .98-.99 Did I check it wrong or somethign because that seems like its pretty damn far off. How could it possibly get that far off?

Dan, that TPS reading should have evoked the CEL.

It's not unreasonable given what the car is doing. Confirm that the reading is correct, and check the wiring going to the TPS (ohm out the TPS ground, check VREF, and check the sweep trend in the signal wire).

Take a look at your idle bleed screw - ensure it isnt run out too far. More than about 1.5 turns from seated yields some crappy idle characteristics for most folks.

I have some 94-95 idle setting tips that are a little off-beat once you get that far, if conventional methods are not cutting it.

Good luck.
