96 3.8 dead miss and backfire

I own a 96 v6 with a small problem. When i first start to take off, it misses badly for about 1-2 seconds before it takes off, it feels like its not getting enough gas at that moment, then when you hold it down it takes off right. When it first starts to miss it sounds like its backfiring like undrneath the hood or in the intake or something. HELP!:

is it rough at idle? It could be bad/old spark plugs, if not it sounds like your ignition is off which could be your timing but most likely one of your coil packs is dead

Yeah, check your plugs then your coil paks as well.
