96 (94-98) Door Removal Process?

Hey Gang,

I have a 96 GT (should be the same from 94-98 at least).. So , does anyone have a suggestion on a easy way to remove the passengers door (hinges and all)? I got a long scrape down mine and just picked up a used replacement door, but looks like I need to take off the front fenders to get to the bolts holding the hinges to the frame... is this correct??

I don't think you need to take the fender off, at least I didn't when I did the driver's side. you can get to the bolts from the inside of the car. take off the panel inside and you'll see where the hingebolts are. Very tight fit to remove, some wiring in the way I think, its been awhile.
Make sure you have an extra hand with the doors, I replaced my driver's side hinges solo and it took 3+ hours of fighting the alignment. its gets pretty tricky with the 2 hinges with 3 axis to line up.
