this style is growing on me. owners of 96-98 gt's let me hear about them. weaknesses and streingths, id love to hear it all. post pics too. my friend (96gtho) has a emerald green coupe that ive fallen in love with. let me see some pics. i liek the stock wheels on them too. advice is welcome.

its my favorite body style you just have to add some hp...link in my sig to a site thats just 94-98 bodystyle...also look up top of this section and you'll see a picture thread with alot of our cars in it.

Yeah the reason 99+ GT's put out more power is due to modified intake manifold/cams/heads. It's a VERY common swap to do at LEAST the cams/intake and very often the whole head as well. It'll put you on par with a newer body gt (pre05, and the truthfulness of that statement is argued). The search function is your friend if you want more info on that swap.

I'll whore out some pics of my car too, I suck with a camera and my car isn't very photogenic though.

I just noticed now how big of a difference in looks there is in my car vs other 94-98's with that stupid bumpbar thing on the door...Wonder what it'd look like if I took them off. The paint would either be a) nonexistant b) scratched/damaged to crap c) better than the rest due to lack of UV damage lol.

i had a choice between getting the new '99 stang or the leftover '98. i guess you can see what i chose. the extra 35 hp wasn't worth it to me.

squares, lovin the silver!
