Hey guys, im posting this for a freind of mine who just got a 95 GT. The car has alot of work done to it. H/C/I and a slew of bolt ons. Its definatly a sick and fast car.

But, the car came with 96-98 style clear Altezza lights...

He wants to change them back to 94/95's, but I remember hearing/reading that you have to change the wire harness for the lights in order for that to work.

So my question is... is that true? And if it has been switched allready from 94/95 to 96-98 style harness will it be a direct swap back, or will it need to be cut/spliced?

Thanks...:nice:

Im pretty sure its just one plug for a bulb thats different. So you just need to find out which one and splice the 94-95 one on.

You actually add a socket when going to '96-'98's. So you take one off, for going back to '94-'95's.

I'd just go to the junkyard and get the harness for the '94 tails. The harnesses unplug right inside the trunk. Why cutting and splicing something that can come undone, or get wet when a J-yard pair isn't too expensive?

Id just cut and splice, it wont show, and if you have even a slight idea of how to splice wires it wont mess up.

im with 66coupe....i hate spliced up wiring and when the harness is sooooo completly simple to switch its non-sense not to do it right

Yea but then you have to leave the house. lol

Sure if I had one laying around Id switch them out, but I wouldnt go hunting for one when I can splice it just fine and it will last for a long ass time.
