Well I took my 96 Cobra in for it's first alignment job here recently but ran into a snag. I took it to one place that told me the camber and toe alignment settings for 1996 were exactly the same regardless of which model car you had. That didn't sound too right. And upon looking at the alignment printout it said very clearly at the top 1996 Mustang (All exec. Cobra). When I inquired abut this naturally they guy didn't have a straight answer and treated me like some sort of idiot. The next place I took it to was a Good Year Tire center. They guys were professional with me but told me they didn't have a setting for the 1996 Cobra on their machine. They did however have 95 and 97 Cobra settings, each of which according to them is slightly different than their V6 and GT counterparts.

So what the heck is going on here? Any of you have suggestions as to a specific setting that I'm supposed to have? I'd like somthing aggressive if that possible. Thanks!

The setting on a 94-96 GT and Cobra is
Caster 3.40 +/- .75
Camber .50 +/- .75
Toe In .13 +/- .13

The 97-98 GT/Cobra is different.

And the reason for that is why? The 96-98 Cobras are all identical suspension wise...
