96 cobra....could it be quick?

My buddy has a 96 cobra with low miles. He has ordered some parts and should all be here in a week.

Parts: Centerforce dual friction, beffed up T45 with longer 1st gear,4:30s,
magnaflow X, Bassani catback, JLT cold air, Centerforce aluminum flywheel,
underdrives.

What might his car run in the quarter with some sticky tires and good driver?

not low 12's.

Stock they can run high 13's. I think I have seen a 13.60 bone stock with tires by Evan Smith.

The best I have seen on a stock motor was a 12.56@109 by my buddy. He had IMRC elims, full exhaust (LT's) CAI, pullies, SCT Xcal, and 4.56's and some serious weight reduction.

I personally ran 12.80's@108 with 4.30's and 12.30's@111 with ported heads and cams. That was in my 98.

yeah not low 12s. I'd guess low 13s with a good driver. But i'd expect 13.5s on average

Bitemark is running 12.0x with full bolt ons, short runner intake w/IMRC delete, 4.56 gears and weight reduction on a tire.

I ran 13.8 with a shifter and 13.6 with a shifter, K&N, h pipe and weld in flows on KDWS's.
