I have 4.10 gears installed and the place installing put in a 23 tooth gear in the transmission. This does not fully correct it.

I originally had 3.08 gears in the car.

They also added a a diablo custom chip but the shop said they could not do the speedo with that, but they could fix shift points. Is this :bs: ?

Thanks

BTW-does the 94-98 have sepertate oss and vss sensors?

Not sure about the oss and vss deal, but that tiny white peice of crap gear is the worst thing to use. since you have an automatic, you should have got the dallasmustang speedcal. That's the only thing that will accurately correct the speedo for a gear, tire/rim change and not wear out after a year. Just my .02

What about the diablo chip? Can it be used to change the gear ratio to fix the speedo?

No. Only on 99+ cars. Trust me, I did several posts and called MANY shops trying to find another way to do it. This is the only accurate way.

Screamin' guy, I replied to a post you did a while back on this same question and even took the time to explain how to do it. So you still have not taken my advice. obviously not taken ANYONE's advice for that matter. Just in case you forgot, here is your post.

This is the only way for an accurate speedo correction.
