96 Mustang Blowing #17 Maxi Fuse

I have a 96 mustang that was running fine up intil today when I went to start it all gages came on til I turned the key to start and nothing I went though all the fuse in the car all was good then I turn to under the hood and found the #17 fuse Blown I called the Autozone in my town and they got me to buy the switch box thats under the steering wheel I replaced it replaced the fuse all lights came on and again when I turned the key all the way to start it blown again any help please

My 96 reference manual does not have fuse numbers for the engine compartment fuses. It does have numbers for the I/P fuse panel.

Can you post a picture of your fuse panel or give the fuse name and size as well as it's number?
