96 tripometer

I have a 96 GT. Reset the tripometer. Now the tripometer and odometer doesn't work. How do I fix it.

There's a little gear in the works that has lost its teeth. Pretty common problem especially in T-Birds for some reason. Go to "carradio.com" and find their speedo/odo repair page and order a new gear. You'll have to take your instrument cluster out and get it apart but it is not a big job. Just take pictures as you go so you can get everything back together correctly.
