I am looking to replace the stock exhaust for 2 reasons...
The first is that (prior to me owning the car) the original T45 was replaced with a T45 for a GT. As far as I know, the trans are the same except for the crossmember mounting points...which leads me to the problem. The yahoo who installed (the wrong trans in my mind) moved the crossmember forward to mate with the new T45. Now the stock cats bang into the crossmember. The genius who installed it smashed the heat shields to minimize the noise. It drives me nuts!:bang:

The second reason is I want better perfomance and sound. This is my daily driver so I don't want obnoxious but I do want to be noticed.

I was looking at the new Summit catalog and they have a Pypes SS manifold back system for $659. I read a couple threads about the Pypes products and people seem to be generally happy. I was hoping for some insight and recommendations.

Thanks,
C

Look at my set up in my sig. When I drive, I forget I have exhaust on my car. The Dyno Max is extremely quiet, but it still sounds great when you step on it. I always have people ask what exhaust I have, and I have NO drone on the freeway.

T-45: Usually you have to move the trans mount back to fit a newer T-45. It is quite odd to me that it is moved forward.

Now that you mention it (after looking at your setup), a blower may be in my future somewhere down the road. I will look at the dynomax for sure now.

and yes, the crossmember moved forward about 6 inches!!
