Hey fellas,

Cobra has been running like crap lately, reading on the forum people suggested I clean the IAC, tried but didn't cure the issue. Now I'm looking to buy a new IAC and was looking for confirmation on the part number I'm ordering.

The description for the part according to rock auto is:

MOTORCRAFT Part # CX1661 {#F65Z9F715BC}
F65E-9F715BB; 32 Valves Per Engine

Sounds like the correct part just want to make sure

Here's a picture also

Also anyone have a discount code from Rock Auto?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Yeah, that's it. It may be cheaper at an Auto parts store or try Steve who offers 10% over on svtperformance.

Thanks fellas, glad it ended up being the correct part number. I ended up ordering it noon on Saturday after I posted this because I had to catch a plane to Cali and wasn't going to have internet access. The part should be here sometime this week and hopefully it works out and my car will actaully run like normal again. I had heard it may be cheaper at a auto parts store but also some people saying the Ford part was best. Guess we'll see.

I have been busy but wanted to come back to this thread and give an update for any others having starting/idle issues. I install the IAC which took maybe a mintue or two, and made sure to have the battery disconnected to clear the computer. Car didn't want to start on the first try, but after giving it a bit of gas it started right up. Let it run a while and let the computer get used to the new IAC. From there I turned it off and on a few times and it started great each time. Glad to have my car back and running just in time for the warmer weather to come.
