I bought this car for my step son and helped replace nearly every part on it. I ended up with it back and the oil pump gave out. Got a 98 cobra motor with 80k miles on it and fixed it. Hanlons rebuilt the t45. All Steeda suspension. Needs body work and paint. So a decent running car I have a ton of money in. Cant sell it. Not one call or email last year.
Thought about putting it on the track. More money. Track pads are expensive I found out...plus expensive hobby just to run....
Thought about parting it out...
Went to Endless Summer Cruisin in Ocean City this past weekend and watched the car auction. Geez. A 98 cobra convertible in excellent condition sold for $5500.00
Holy crap. And it was red, not black.
I thought the drivetrain would be great in ...something else? 65-70 mustang?
What can I do with this thing to recoup some of the money I've dumped into it?
I'm open to any suggestion. I'm WAY over $5500 in parts....
