Whats up everyone, i've got MarkVII stuff up front on my coupe and I just got a set of 98 GT wheels off a buddy of mine. Was wondering if anyone has made these work so the centercap will go on? I've already read all thru Matt's 5 lug swap site but if someone has modified their spindle at all to clearance the centercap on wheels that normally wouldnt work what did you do? If I cant make it work I'll prob just get spacers and longer studs. I would swap to 95 stuff but my ProStar skinnys wont clear the caliper bracket and I dont want to run with spacers at the track. Thanks for any help guys

You should be able to mount the wheel, but it will not clear with the center cap on. These wheels are particularly concave. There is barely any room under the cap with the SN95 front spindles, let alone the Lincoln rotors. I don't think there is any way to modify the spindle/rotor to make it fit without spacers. Unless you want to cut a hole in the center cap!

Good luck!
