98 Cobra.. MY CAMSHAFT?!

Hey Guys,
well my body is looking pretty sweet, i've got the new rims on, and a few details that needed dieing attention, but just recently i was talking with an old friend of mine and he was telling me that if i want to add to my nice muscle roaring sound i should invest in a good cam, and that it'll also give me a nice little boost in power. My question is:
ANY suggestions on which cam would be a good purchase.. Also, i was thinking about changing the heads but some guys tell me the svt heads are sweet enough... im kinda not sure about that... ANY SUGGESTIONS??
1998 cobra.

THANKS ALOT!

Dude! What part of montreal are you from?? Im in the west island.

Do you have any mods ? If I were you I'd first start with the exhaust to let that horse breath, then go with the cams!

Im in the south shore, and actually im down town montreal too. I stay in town at a freinds place from time to time.. but i come back home every now and then..
lol.. kinda like a 2 home system.
Anyways.. thats cool man... your west island!! maybe ill see u on the road... u go to the track at all??
Exhaust is done already,
thats why i wanna look into new heads or camshaft.. one or the other.. or both.. lol

You keep saying cam. Your car has 4 cams and it's quite a nasty little project. Check with the guys on the SVT section. I'm sure they'll steer you in the right direction. Also, check out VT Racing, Crane Cams, Sean Hyland Motorsports. :D

cams are awsome, but there are alot of mods that are better to start with. the hp gain per dollar is not to good with cams as a set (4) will cost anywhere from $1000 up + install costs. Start with exhaust, gears, pullies, intake. That will get you a little more umph from your cobra (I cant figuer out how to sign out of my buddies name, but I drive a 96 cobra with these mods and a few more).
