98 Cobra Cruise Doesn't Work

I just bought a '98 Cobra 'Vert and the only problem is that the cruise control won't engage. Is this a common problem? The previos owner said that he just never used it and one day he noticed that it wouldn't work. Also, how do you gain access to the cruise servo? It looks to me like the driver's side fender must be removed. Thanks for any help.

Check fuses 6 and 9 under the dash to see if they are blown, those are the ones on the cruise control circuit...also check the throttle body linkage, there should be two cables attached to it...ones the gas pedal cable and the other is the cruise control cable...

If that doesnt work, check to see if the cruise control rod is clipped onto the brake pedal. It sometimes just simply pops off. Easy fix...
