98 cobra swap to 99+ heads and intake

has anyone out there swapped 99+ heads and intake on their 96-98 cobra. i'm considering this cause i've read that the 99+ heads and intake flow much better. is there much horsepower and torque to be gained? and is this a complicated swap? i'm looking at used 99+ heads and intake relatively cheap and i thought about having them worked a bit. i'm still considering the supercharger but i'm not ready to drop 6,000 on that quite yet.

You should get about 20rwhp and 20ft lbs from the swap (as long as the heads have a fresh, good quality valve job and you use your 96-98 cams.

prob not worth the price of the install. i'm looking at a used vortech v2 sq with an aftercooler and if it works out i shouldn't need any more mods for hp but for traction issues.

+1 ON THAT. I agree 100%...by the time you got done, you might be half way to a superchager.
