98 Cobra, yes or no?

Well now that I sold my 5.0 I have 10000 to play with and I'm thinking about joining the svt family. I dont know jack about cobras so I was wanting to know is a 98 a good year to buy? Also, very stupid question, what year did they start putting superchargers into them? Thanks in advance.

2003 was the first year for the Eaton superchargers. I think you would be very happy with 96-98 Cobra. With 10k, you should also have some money left over for mods. I recommend adding a Vortech kit and some gears, and you could match or beat the 03/04 Cobras

yeah i wanna supercharger but thats impossible with my wife LOL!
the 96-98 cobras are affordable and cobras love mods! i spent 13k on a used 96 cobra in practically mint condition. it was blue booked at 13k with 37k miles!

'98s are cool because you can get a real low-production vehicle (blue or yellow).
