Here's my problem. My engine is making a god awful whinning noise. Sounds like a bearing in one of the pullies. As I was checking it out yesterday I thought I narrowed it down to the tensioner pulley. Here's why: While the engine was running and making the whinning noise I pushed a sticked down on the tensioner to relieve tension and the noise stopped. Also, when I sprayed oil directly in the tensioner pulley, where the bearings are at, the noise stopped. And finally, when I took the belt off the tensioner pulley itself had about 1/16 of an inch play in it(would wobble a bit when i moved it around). So I thought I had it nailed down. Last night I replaced the tensioner pulley itself(not the whole assembly with the arm, just the pulley),
well, that did not fix it so I'm completely clueless of what it could be.
I did wash my engine the night before this started happening and I do have the steeda pulleys installed(but they have been on for quite some time)
If anyone can offer any suggestions on this I would appreciate it, kind of embarrasing driving around with the car making all that racket.
Also, I forgot to mention. After the car warms up the noise is not present at idle, only acceleration. The belt is only about a year old as well. Thanks for any help guys.

Didn't mean to take away from your thread, I just noticed your having the same problem as me.
You guys ever find out a solution to this problem? I noticed it does it mostly when its cold out.
