Anyone else have a problem with the clutch cable being too long ? Ordered the bbk clutch cable quadrant and firewall adjuster. The length is 71and 1/4 of a inch
I only use the OEM Cable all others are junk. Numerous threads agree. I bought the aluminum quadrant and fire wall adjuster separate and bought a new OEM Cable after reading about the aftermarket problems.
I’ve personally had the steeda adjustable cable on 3 mustangs and it was fine. 2 of those mustang are now above 50k miles since the install years ago. One of the mustangs has the steeda adjustable cable with a stage 2 clutch and doing great. I even did a side by side comparison with pics and updates every year to my original post
Found the issue someone had the pedal assembly apart and put them back together wrong. Positioning the quadrant too close to the firewall took the assembly apart and repositioned the quad and no issues
