98 ram air???

if you enter 1998 ford mustang gt coupe you can get a ram air hood that is apparently functional with a ram air intake.

Is this junk? is it better than the K&N FIPK? I think i am going to get one of the two but I like the hood on the cervinis website. I could always get just the hood and get the K&N.

What do you all think?

My .02:

the hood is fugly i have never liked that hood. it has too sharp of edges for the round body style of the 94-98s.

Now, on to the ram air. you want see any true performance gains from it. IMO, you're better off w/ a cowl hood and a drop in K&N filter. the intake wont give you much gains either. If you want the looks of the FIPK, go for it. just dont expect to gain a whole lot.

My suggestion overall would be cowl hood and full PI swap with VT stage I cams if you really want some performance.
