Alright, I have a 98 V6 auto, and today as I was shifting from park to drive in my driveway, my shifter became loose with little to no resistance, it now even shifts without the brake pressed. I figured it was the shift linkage, I looked under the car and everything looked OK, I'm thinking it is where the shifter connects to the linkage. However, for the life of me I can't get this shifter off. I removed the 2 screws on the left, but there are two posts on the right that don't move. How do I remove this thing and reconnect the linkage?
