99-04 8.8 swap?

I was wondering if anyone had swapped out their 94-98 8.8 with the wider 99-04 8.8. I already have the axle and overall lengths. I just wanted to see some pics of people that have done the swap. Any pics and or comments on previous experience would be great. Thanks!

I had this done to my 95, If you are lowered and running wide tires you're asking for problems. I was running a 315/30/18 and the results where slashing's from the fender wells. I'am know running 295's and it looks KILLER!

Thanks for the reply. Do you have any side shots of your car? I don't plan on running anything bigger than 285/35/18s really. I think I should be good. I just don't want to waste alot of time only to have to undo it all. Also, what size wheels are you running in the rear?

whats the benifit of the 99+ rear? Wouldnt you want the narrower axels for drag racing? I guess wider axel would be better for road course?
