I think it was a 2002-2003 only thing. It's a little area of netting on the roof right between the visors

I love mine, comes in handy

Same thing here. My 02 Mustang V6 doesn't have one. It was added on late in 02 to all remaining 02 Mustangs that were built.

Mine was a Dec build as well. Are you sure you are talking about the same thing? Its part of the headliner. I dont think its removable.

I'm looking for the Ford Part Number for the overhead storage net that in in the 99-04 Mustangs. Also, how does this attach to the headliner?

We went thru this here, back when it first came out. It doesn't have its own P/N. It is part of the full headliner, and if you want it, you have to order the entire headliner.

Now, that doesn't mean you can't find one in a junk/salvage yard, and just rip it off the headliner.

Its a elastic netting, that is between the sunvisors. It is similar to, but much smaller than, the cargo netting one sees in the back of many SUV's. It only came on the coupes.

If you want a cargo net in your headliner, take the headliner out (not that hard really), take it to an auto fabrics place, and have them sow in a nice little net!

My wife's 01 doesn't have it, my 02 does.
With a balck car, the FL heat and a wallet in the net, my credit cards softened nearly to the point of silly puddy. For me, this lil net, which I initially thought was cool, sits empty.
