Is the 99 35TH ANNIV HOOD SCOOP different in anyway from 01 and up hood scoops that came stock? i thought, i heard the 01+ where a little higher????

yes, the 01+ are about an inch taller than the 99.

Also, I think that the number of mounting studs is different. I think the 35th Anniversary scoop has a few less mounting studs than the 01+.

Ford had a problem with the 35th anniversary scoops coming off, so they added more screws to the '01 style, I am not sure on the specifics of the size difference.

I have a 99 and I got a 01+ scoop since it's meaner looking. The 35th scoop alone isn't very noticable (compared to the 01+), the whole 35th package is nice though
