99+ body parts on the 94-98s?

Is it possible to put the 99+ body parts (fenders, Hoods, bumper covers) on the 94-98s?

Has anyone heard of it being done or tried it?

Is it bolt on or is there slight modifications to the panels that need to be performed. Or is it just down right a serious PITA to do and one should not bother?

I love my Cobra (drivetrain wise) but the body as with anything is starting to age IMO and I would like the fresh update without having to purchase a newer Cobra.

It has been done. I have no idea where the pictures are and how it was done. But I remember reading about it and seeing pictures of it.

From what little I know, there's not a huge difference chassis wise between the 94-98 and the 99+ mustangs so you should be able to get the later year body panels on pretty easily, maybe a little modification but nothing drastic. Don't quote me on that though

Dugan Racing has a reskinned 94 with new edge panels with a blown 351W. I would think it is on Dugan RAcing.com. A maroon droptop, I have seen it before and it is for sale for I think 28K. It has been a while since I have paid attention to the ad BUT I know it is Dugan Racing.

I'm trying to find a picture of it, but am having no luck. I just went through the Mustang mags from Primedia and nothing. Google = nothing. DucanRacing.com = nothing.

Well, they did a hell of a lot more than just the fenders and bumpers. The doors were done as well. Looks quite clean though.
