I put 99+ Cobra calipers on my GT and used braided lines made for 99+ Cobras. These are the lines: http://www.techna-fit.com/ford.html

They were installed in the same manner as the stock lines, although the bracket that holds the fitting at the hard line had to be modified by removing a small tab so the new line would fit. The banjo fitting was oriented in line with the caliper, like the stock line was oriented.

The lines touch the wheel. Just slightly, and only when the suspension is compressed.

The supplier swears that he's sold hundreds of these and nobody has ever had a problem before and that they must be installed incorrectly. I don't think they're installed incorrectly. I have compensated for this interference by reorienting the banjo fitting forward, which pulls down the line.

Anybody else have to do this w/ braided lines on a Cobra?
