99 Cobra for 10k?

Hey guys,

Just thought I would get your input on a purchase I might make. Right now I drive the lowly NPI GT. I found a 99 Cobra for 10k and it has 59k on the clock and the only mods are K&N, Bassani X-Pipe, tinted windows, and it's lowered, oh yeah and some nasty decals on the sides (will come off). Only negative is it has a rebuilt title. Is it worth it? Here are some pictures...

Do you know "why" it has a rebuilt title (ie - flood/crash/theft recovery/etc)?

Price seems a little high for a salvage, cheap for a clear title. Just beware I am pretty sure that it is near impossible to get a loan on a salvage title. even if you pay cash, just remember any potential buyer will have problems trying to buy it unless they have the cash in hand. Just harder to sell/finance but can prove to be a good deal as long as you never plan on selling it.

I bought my 99 cobra a month ago for 9800 and it has 114k miles, clear title, only mods are JLT cold air, MAC cat-back and a short shifter... needed cleaned and new brakes/rotars... 59k miles is good tho and with the mods, I'd say its worth it man

I just picked up a 99 vert for 11.1k with 31k on the clock...and a clear title.

i'd probably pass.....too many potential reasons why the price is so low(or high, depending on how you look at it). you can find others

im lookin at one round new orleans no flood but lil paint work like 300. im can get for 8500 but needs tires and only has 24k miles on it.its white

I just bought a 1999 cobra conver. with 40,000 miles for 14,000 clean title. You can find one for less just keep lookin. The only reason I jumped on mine was because I bought it from the 1st owner and it's like new. I looked around for a while most 1999 cobra conver were going for 15,000 with more miles on them.
