I got a letter in the mail today for a recall on my Mustang and called the dealer to find out that it is indeed true! They finally owned up to the problem and made a batch of cast metal intakes to replace the crappy plastic ones. I will try to scan in the letter a little later to give everyone the info on it including the numbers to contact and everything but I imagine everyone else will be getting theirs in the mail soon.

Today really is a good day!!!

Nobody in New York gets their mail at 9:21am.. Do our postal workers even have to be awake by then??

Hell I get my mail @ 4-5pm when i'm lucky.

My friend's dad is a postal worker here in MA... He gets up at 5:30am. I know this because we stay up too late and he gets all huffy when we're up.

Maybe NY is different,

Yeh right, I wish this was true. Of course if this was true it would be just my luck. I just bought the C&L upper plenum and Accufab TB. Probably wouldnt work anymore.

JonJon. You were asking what power mods I have. Well, as for anything that will actually show up on the dyno here is what I have:
BBK long tube headers
Off road H-pipe
Bullet Mufflers
Steeda U/D pulleys
Steeda Intake spacer
Pro-M 80mm MAF
FRPP 70 mm TB
Autologic chip
4.10 gears (actually will reduce dyno numbers)
Spec Stg 2 clutch
FRPP aluminum driveshaft

I think that's about it. This year all that is going to change. I had installed SHM ported and polished heads, the intake I mentioned above, and a whole lot of other parts. It is being tuned tonight and I'll have the new numbers.

If you have any other questions feel free to PM me.

Sorry guys... I just had to do it since it was April Fools...

Imagine how pissed a bunch of guys on the DSM boards were when I posted that they were going to do a recall on the crankwalk problem that they have and it was a joke...
