A/C and heater knob relocation

Who here has relocated their knobs for the heater and A/C controls? If you did, whats all involved? Any way of being able to put it in the center console? Lastly, anyone know if 2 5/8 gauges would fit into the slots where the radio usually would be if you had a mach460 radio

I think it was 94SC50 who did it in his car. Looks pretty trick!

You can move them into the center console if you can extend the cables that far but I don't know how.
