A/C blowing luke-warm

Hey folks. It's hot today. Quite hot. I'm having a/c problems.

:uzi:

Here's the skinny: changed out my a/c compressor and assorted other parts last summer, had system evacuated, charged, etc. It blew quite cold until recently. Here is how it is acting:

1. A/C is obviously turned on at panel, coldest setting.
2. Compressor is running just fine.
3. Warm air is coming out of vents.

My understanding is, if the system was too low on refrigerant, the compressor wouldn't even kick on. I replaced my pressure switch two or three years ago, so I assume it's still good.

Could it still be low on refrigerant even if the compressor is kicking on? Could it be anything else that I just wouldn't know about?

Thanks!

My Sunfire did the same thing. It wasn't blowing cold air, but the pump was still kicking in. Took it to the dealership and they re-charged it. It worked fine for about 2 days, then it all leaked out again, this time the pump stopped.

The idiots didn't use dye when they re-charged it and they wanted me to pay for another charge plus labour to re-fill it. They said it was the pump shaft seal and it had a slow leak. When they re-charged it the first time the seal was weak and it blew out.
