a/c compressor

[/I]I need to change out my a/c compressor...went bad...how hard is it to change on a '94 GT?

You will need a new compressor (obviously), once you find that, its going to be fairly striaght forward. You will need to have your A/C system drained. Then just unplug the hoses and sensor from the compressor (you may need a $10 tool to remove the A/C lines from the compressor), drop the new one in, plug everything back in and get the A/C system refilled.

I had Ford replace mine...I know, long story but there was no way around it. The compresser alone was close to 500 bucks! Ouch.

i just bough a a/c compressor off of red94fiveo lol. thanks by the way.

i will soon be changing my compressor when it arrives. shouldn't be hard to do at all. just read it over in the haynes manual before attempting to do it yourself. so you know what your getting in to
