I was woundering where the location is for the air conditioner drip hose. I heard of other people with 99 - 04 v6 3.8 stangs having somekind of a/c leak after the car is turned off from running. I dont want to be replaceing exhaust headers/manafolds for no reason. So I read on a forum that someone fixed the issue by coupling the drip hose from the a/c and running it towards the side of the car so it can drain without damaging anything.

So can someone help me with this and tell me if this will fix the issue and if so where is the drip hose located??

Thanks for any and all your help...

Also I wanted to give a shout out to everyone that has helped me with my past issues and problems. I have gained so much knowledge about mustangs and cars in general from this site and all of you car guys and girls.
--------------------- THANKS ---- CRAIG:) :nice:

The drain line is above the passenger side exhaust manifold on the firewall. It drips onto the manifold, which is why the car hisses after it's been shut off. It shouldn't be too hard to put a hose on the port to divert the water away from the exhaust.
