A/C: Who changed their low pressure switch?
Hi guys, I determined my low pressure switch is bad for the a/c. The pressure was borderline low when I jumped the connector. I recharged it to about 30psi to put it back into the full range and the compressor still won't engage with the pressure switch connected. I guess that means it's bad. Okay now my question... do I have to get someone to evacuate the system to change the switch? Then recharge it? Also, is there anywhere known besides the dealer that carries the switch? I've looked and it doesn't look like an item autoparts stores regularly carry. Thanks guys!

. On mine it turned out to be the condenser and it looked brand new so that would have probaly have been the last place I looked. It costed alittle more at the time to get the dye put in, but it saved me lots of money down the road.
