I was grinding a stuck on bolt yesterday and accidentally nicked my A/C/ Line. Needless to say ALL my freon blew out. Can I have this welded back or do I have to buy a whole new line? Here is a pic. Thanks, Andrew

You could probably just get that welded closed again. That's what I did when I had a hole in one of those heater tubes that run along the passenger side of the intake manifold.

I don't know if I'd want to chance it and have any slag from the weld get into the line. 50resto sells new lines for $36.95 for the 94-95 if you decide to go that route instead.

$37 is cheaper than an entire system. do what the man says and quit taking the path of least resistance.

If the welder has any brains, he can do it w/o probelms. Just take it to someone who is an experienced welder and/or does welding.
