I was wondering if you guys knew which a/c line I need and where to buy it online. It's the one that connects the condenser to the firewall on the passenger side. My longtubes rubbed against it and put a hole in it:bang: I was trying to find it on 50resto but had no luck.
Thanks

Adam

AC line

It sounds like you melted your liquid line. It's the one that runs from the outlet of the condensor to the evap inlet on the firewall.
It has an internal oriface tube that should normally be changed when servicing your system anyway.
Is it a small diameter line, maybe encased in protective sleeve?

line

It would have been better if they'd have had a picture on the site, but that sounds like what you need. If it's a small diameter line running down the pass. side of the engine then it's the liquid line.
Check for an area on the line with a small crimped area just back from the point at which it attaches to the condensor, if it has that it's the liquid line. The crimp actually holds the o-tube in place inside the line.
