Having some AC issues on the stang. The compresser would not engage, so I figured low freon. I attached a can and bypassed the switch on the accumilator. It blew cold, so no freon issues. I figure that the switch has gone bad. Of course this a Ford only product I assume, as none of the local parts stores can get one. Has anyone ever changed one, when I remove it will all of the freon leave the system? Also how much does one run, and can you get it anywhere other than ford?
Thanks for the help!

No it won't leak out, there is a needle valve on the accumulator that prevents any freon from escaping, just "Twist" it off and install the new one.
BTW: I have one in storage that I KNOW works but I no longer use because the engine bay has been Gutted, if you can Cover shipping I'll give it to ya....

Got it fixed, thanks for the info. I was asking for a low pressure switch, like on a chevrolet, didn't know it is a clutch cycle switch on a Ford, thanks for the help guys!
