ok so my a/c stopped working and ive checked the freon level and pressure and its all good. so does this mean that my compressor might be shot? Cause my compressor is not even kicking on.

Check the low side pressure switch.. If I remember right there is also a pressue switch on the high pressure hose too, but the low pressure switch is common to go out, I just had to replace mine about a month ago.

^+1 or it may be the AC Clutch going out too. I had my stock clutch chirp and shoot sparks shortly after I picked up my Mustang from my Brother in Law.
well i just replaced my ac cylce pressure switch and still no go. so what else could be my problem?
I ran into this a few summers ago... But just so we're comparing apples to apples here, youre talking about the "low pressure switch," the one that comes right off the top of the dryer? If so, did you try to jump the switch while it was off (paperclip worked for me) to get the clutch to engage momentarily? That should help narrow things down if it spins.
Heres my thread seemed to help a bunch a others with similiar problem. Also from what ive read and understand 2v and 4v are really similiar/identical.

Try jumping the two pins on the low side switch like the above post said.. If it still does not engage then you have a failure on the electrical side of the system.

yeah i've tried jumping it, and ive even replaced it and still no go. so i think my next step it to test the ccrm. but before i do that is there a way i can power the compressor to see if it still works or engages?

Start by confirming the following fuses. F1.24, F2.23, F2.24, F2.2.
F1=Battery Junction Box (BJB) located in the engine bay
F2=Central Junction Box (CJB) located in the driver's kick panel.
It is possible to jump the AC clutch. Disconnect the AC clutch connector. Force +12 volts and -12 volts towards the AC clutch. Confirm if you hear the clutch engage.
Confirm that the engine cooling fan works.
Confirm the the passenger compartment fan works.
The CCRM will require many more detailed tests. Do you have a volt-ohm meter? Are you prepared to use it?
