I was working on my B&M Hammer shifter a little while ago and it dawned on me that some people may have never seen a car without some options or maybe didn't even know some things were options. So I snapped a couple pictures to show. For the record, this is on an 87, later years would have more standard equipment. Thought some of you might find them interesting...

NON-tilt steering column in an 87-90 setup. Also notice NON-cruise control steering wheel. Looking closely you will also see part of the window crank for NON-power windows.

NON-A/C HVAC controls. (Please excuse lack of fancy plastic, I had the console out at the time.)

NON-Power Locks & NON-Power Windows.

I can take pictures of other things this car was optioned without, such as the electric trunk release & electric gas filler door release, etc. if anyone is interested. Let me know...

i am a big guy, so stripping weight out of the car means nothing. hence my liking power everything (you might have guessed with my GT vert). LOL.

Well I guess it's just one less thing to break.

Did foxes even come with electric gas door poppers?

Those pictures do shed a light that I'm sure some people, including myself, have not seen before. I have almost every option, but that doesn't mean all are functioning properly. I just put new door lock actuators in, but have yet to fix cruise control or my electric trunk release. Oh well, all in due time.

Ahhhhhh....someone that can relate to me. Many asked why i took a four cylinder rust box and did all the work to swap it over....spending thousands of dollars, and hundreds of hours......Its because its a ZERO option car with a 5-speed. Yes indeed they are getting very very hard to find. Couldn't find one in a 5Liter.

Thanks for the pictures. I didn't know there was a no tilt option. Was that an option on v8s also? Is this on your orange coupe? I thought that was an 89 ex 4 cyl. I saw that car a couple times at Mustangs Unlimited back when you lived here.

Also never saw a door panel for no power options up close.

hmmmm thats like my car, i have tilt but that was standard in 88, no cruise, no A/c, and the only power option is the gas door for some reason, its more of a pain than anything. but i got you beat by one cause my car is a Canadian car with 1 option .....lol so i have the KM/h speedo, and its classified as a Cobra
