a couple Qs on my turbo swap

[89' RICE COOKER]

I finally have decided to go with the turbo swap. i have a 89' 2.3 HB automatic and i just ripped the motor out last week.a guy i know has 3 xr4ti's that are complete and running and will give one up for a grand(good deal i'm thinkin).this is my first swap ever and im only 19,but there are a couple things i need help on,

1. can i just swap computers or do the turbo motors have a different wire harness?
2. how hard and stressful is the auto-5spd swap? (as far as pedal assembly and tranny mounts)
3. i have 2 a4ld's and i know a few of the turbocoupes had them in them stock. did any merkurs come with an auto tranny? i have limited money right now so i wanna swap as least as possible. i just wanna get it running on the road right now.

any advise or feedback would help me out greatly, like i said im only 19 and this is my first swap. Thank you all in advance

If you spend a grand on a Merkur don't strip it, drive it.

Find a cheaper donor car (a few hundred bucks).

1)No, you need to change some wires (as seen on my site)

3)Yes, they were C3's though (basically an A4LD without OD)
