I plan on bypassing my smog, power steering, and AC to use at the race track. A few questions for you.

My first question is: Will bypassing my smog pump ruin my high flow cats? I have never gotten a definate answer. They are expensive and I need to know. Can I get away with just using it at the track?

Number 2: If I bypass the power steering pump, will fluid leak all over? I did a search and someone mentioned it in an earlier thread. Made no sense to me. Thanks.

No & No..but for the fluid it would leak if your driving it around on the street abd you might damage the rack as well.

So bypassing the PS pump is not a good idea even at the drag strip?

I run a short belt at the track. I bypass the smog pump, but I don't have cats. I don't think it would be wise if you have expensive cats. As for the power steering, I never had any fluid leak. It's a pain to drive though. And it probably is hard on it.
