a different electric water pump question

Hi guys,

No it's not about pro and cons of an electric one on a daily driver.

It's about that water pump from Meziere:

first, has anyone got that particular model and what do you think of it?
two, would it fit a 289 block from 1965?

I have a Mezierre electric water pump but not that model.

Even though there were two different timing covers for the SBF, the bolt pattern for the pump did nopt change. The pumps were different regarding the direction of the impeller and the outlet location.

I've been looking at pictures on the web, and it seems that the 5.0L is slightly different from the 289.

I might be wrong, but that's what i am trying to find out.

ford changed the water pump bolt pattern sometime in 1964, i want to say late 64, when they went from an aluminum water pump, to a cast iron pump. the bolt pattern did not change since, but pump design has in different ways, but the pumps will all interchange, after the change in 1964.
