Door frames are welded up . I like to ad a good tack weld on the joints just for extra strength . Old pop and spatter was in a good mood today ,no back lashes or any problems welding ,its like it has those screw you days and ok ,lets weld days !
Now to grind the welds smooth .

The new wheel tubs are ready but i want to sand blast and get it in primer first .
Everything is covered in a fine layer of ash from the fires this morning ,they are not to close to us but the wind is bringing in the smoke and ash ,it was dark here all day yesterday from smoke .

I am ready to sand blast ,but , someone left gas in the tank on the compressor from last year ! It turned the rubber lines to marshmallow and i am sure the carburator is going to need a good flushing if just that . May have to put an electric fuel pump on it because the last time i forgot it ate up the fuel pump .

You just need to buy out the rest of your neighbors properties-think of the storage space you’d have then

I got most of it blasted before the fuel pump went out ,just what i was afraid would happen. I at least got out all the rust ,bad news is passenger rear floor is toast ,now i think i have a passenger full side here but i will have to dig through a few things to find it

So i bought a toy ,hey ,i deserve it!
Its a 2006 Rhino 660 4 x 4 but it only has 1468 miles on it ,the guy cracked driver side bed wall and replaced it so now i need to paint the new one to match ,other than that it is in very good shape . Came with a winch ,new lighting and a brand new set of tires i have been giving a good testing . A little somthing for running parts down to the the sand blaster and back ,towed the mustang with it this morning . Went out a played after blasting this morning and got the custom paint job a bit dirty ...now i gota wash it !

Both wheel tubs ,trunk divider and lower rear window panel welded in place ,ready for the door frames and rear roof brace but it is already to hot to work so i will start early tomorrow . Welder worked great ...for the first 10 welds ,then two back lashes right in a row . A few choice words and it seems to be welding now

I decided to try the roof also. It just lays right in place ,has to be the easiest fitting panels yet.

Have you thought of the reason for this?

I think they have reworked the dies a bit ,there used to be a slight issue with the passenger side quarter fitting to the trunk lid but they fit very well now
