Whenever it's off, they are always straight up. Just like the two vent pods on the passenger side are always closed unless there is a passenger! I only had them open in the pics for symmetry Another OCD thing I do is turn the stereo off before shutting the car off...

That is sweet! It's amazing how the right lighting and a good cam can capture the true color.
I tried to post up yesterday but our cable went out during the storm.

I do this alot. Especially for pictures. I always make sure everything looks right. The vents and HVAC controls are something a lot of people overlook when taking pictures. But it really makes a difference.

I, too, always turn the radio off before opening the door. But that's to keep the battery from dying. I also have to put all the groceries on the belt at the market in order. Frozen first, then refrigerated, then dry. Cans/jars go together, etc... That's the only way to get them bagged properly so nothing gets squished or broken. My fiance laughs at me.

I'd seen it several times before on the net, but seeing yours just added fuel to the fire

Kool...

Ya know I was just kidding brother. It's one of the simplest modifications you can do, but it is one of the best-looking I think.

But let's hope most people don't so it so it retains its unique look.

It would take quite a lot of Stangers to add the letters to even make up 5% of the total production run. I don't see it losing its uniqueness

Cool pics. I run those same Nitto NT555 tires in the same sizes on my big car and was wondering if the 295/45s would be too fat for the back of the Mustang, too. Now I know they'd look fantastic.

Do you get any rubbing in the back or do they clear ok?

Nice pics Kooldawg. Always loved Sonic Blue on mustangs since I saw the 03 cobra with it

Best way to dry a car is to go and buy an electric blower than has a rating of something like 200mph+. Basically just blow dry your car. Gets ALL of the water our of the mirrors, the trunk area (worst area for water to hide), the windows, grill, etc...

Oh, and it takes half the time

NOTE: MAKE SURE THAT IF YOU DO THIS TO CHECK FOR DEBRIS INSIDE OF THE BLOWER TUBE SO THAT WHEN YOU TURN IT ON IT DOESN'T BLOW IT ONTO YOUR CAR AND MESS UP THE PAINT!

I haven't had it on a road course(to keep myself 100% legal )to really push the cornering abilities, but absolutely no rub with spirited daily driving

My car is Vista, but no offense taken
I use a leaf blower a few times when I'm in a hurry or don't feel like taking the time to dry my Harley, urr, I mean Stang The wheels and tail panel certainly add a bit of time to the cleaning/drying process, but well worth it!

Definitely worth it. The best part about blow drying your car is you don't get any streaks or risk getting swirl marks

I am really digging those hood pins KD. Where did you mount them to?

Thanks
I mounted them at the furthest factory holes on the radiator support(close to where the headlight attatches). The holes were a little too big for the studs to thread into so I used a nut on the top and bottom of the support(had to Dremel a hole on each side to gain access to put the lower nut). I have an issue with the pins not sitting flush in the recess, but emay and HEAVYGT mounted his in the same place. Mounting the scuff plate at an angle makes it appear much neater. I like where they are mounted so I will be redrilling the scuff plate holes in the next few weeks.
