A few problems with the Stang...

First, about 10 months ago my clutch pedal started vibrating when I cranked the car and made a loud tapping sound. If I held my foot on the pedal the tapping would stop and I could feel the vibrations in the pedal. I replaced the Clutch with a King Cobra with all new bearings ect. Car ran good, but the clutch wouldn't engage until the pedal was almost completely let out. My friend familiar with 5.0's adjusted the clutch quadrant underneath the dash inside the car try try and adjust the engagement. He adjusted it quite a bit, and even a little to far at first as I could hear that loud ticking sound from the tob and the pedal began to vibrate. He adjusted it back a little and the pedal was softer, engaged a little better and the ticking from the tob wasn't there.

Well now the pedal just vibrates randomly. It will usually vibrate and make a loud tapping noise if I don't hold my foot on the clutch on start up. Usually on trips in 5th the pedal acts fine, but under normal driving going through the gears the pedal vibrates from time to time.

I found and read this article http://www.corral.net/tech/drivetrain/clutcha.htm and I am pretty sure my friend adjusted the cable the same way.

I was just curious if anyone might know a little about this, i'm probably going to try out the ideas stated in that article.

Sounds like something is out of balance........did you get a new flywheel?? Can you feel the vibrations in the shifter? Maybe the throw out bearing guide is bent.......

Has your flywheel ever been re-machined?

Yea I bought a new factory flywheel instead of turning the old one. When I got WOT just about no matter what the clutch will start vibrating if it hadn't been doing it before. I have a good feeling that my driveshaft might be out of balance since the installer of the clutch didn't mark anyplaces on it and installed it. I was considering getting an aluminum driveshaft as well, not sure if it would solve the problems i'm getting out of the clutch.

I also had to get a new clutch fork when we installed the clutch since we snapped the clip. Is the tob guide this clip on the fork or is it something else?
