Well to start with, I got the engine installed and has been running for a few days now. Timing is set and the engine runs like a beauty. The molly rings even seated right away. My probelms are
1. No power stearing.
Symptoms- no power steering- When I crank the wheels back and forth no fluid is dropping into the pump. Also The buzz noise is not there. I am assumming since there is no noise when turned all the way to one side or the other that there is no onoise that this would be the pump itself?
2. Brakes
Ok, I bleed the brakes, and the pedal is stiff, They work fine until I stop rather hard, I load click and thump occurs in my rear left brake drum. Immediately after it takes a little further on the pedal to stop. The third time this happens, I have to go all the way to the floor.
My question is I know that something is sticking in the rear drum, However would this problem also be letting air into my system or would these 2 problems be seperate. I.E. Master Cylinder and E brake. Or could that thump be the new Wheel cylinder I installed?

I probably should add It's an 89 GT 302 and has sat about 3 years.

i would definately rip that drum back apart. somthing is not right at all. sounds like the pad is slipping past anchor or the retaining pins have broken. somthing seems off by alot. and just to know, you did bleed the wheel cylinder right? and also did you adjust the star wheel to fit the drum properly? if not you have misadjusted rear pads on that side, making you pump the pedal until the pad comes in contact with the drum.

and as for your power steering thing. did you replace the pump or somthing? not sure why thats happening. is it actually hard to turn? or just that is doesn't make noise?
