My salesmen said he just sold a GT500 for 80k. Thats a lot. No mustnag is worth 80k i would buy a Z06. He said the man who bought it is a big shelby guy and named his first daughter Shelby. If that all true which im sure it is because hes a good guy and has even called me about questions about the mustang instead of asking his fellow colleagues.

Car salespersons wouldn't lie.

Wow if this is true, I sure hope the guy that bought it has his money being managed in a trust. If they give it to him all at once he will be broke in no time. There is no doubt that he is not intellegent enough to have ever earned enough money to afford this car, so he must be a rich kid that has never had to earn his own money. Sorry to be an a-hole, but at some point stupid is stupid.

some cars have carbin fiver and are worth well over 80k. But no mustang is worth 80k. a car that is 3900lbs and has a live axle is not worth 80k. For that price i want a really good handling car, irs, and aluminum everyware.

Yea rediculios here too, dealers are definatly taking advantage of the situation. The dealer here are crooks I told them it should be against the law to do that but they own the car. If I had one I would sell it too.

For that money I would get a Roush Stage 3 or a Steeda Q 525, hell a Lightning with a Whipple upgrade will smoke a Shelby.

Spoke with a dealer yesterday in Del Rio, TX and he said sticker is $46k and they are marking it up $28k bringing the total to a whopping $74k. Ridiculous! Oh well, its going to sit and sit and sit until the bring it down...
