A question about converting an 89 GT

that would be up for some debate, some would say the 93, because it actually exists and has performance written all over it, but then we have the die-hard enthusiasts who would pay millions for the ultra-rare 1990 mustang cobra R

Well, the '90 Cobra R would be much more rare than the '93 Cobra.

I am confused (I dont mean this as a smarty remark), but you are doing a conversion, but want authenticity?

Good luck with the project. :nice:

I didn't think that would go over very well. Sorry, but I don't feel like trecking the us searching for a real one, nore can I afford it.
Not at all. Personally I have not one issue with it (you and I will probably be in the minority). Some of the guys here are real purists. We know there are enough Faleens running around as it is (another thing I have no issue with). These are cars to be modified however one sees fit.

I really did not know what you intended, so that was why I asked/questioned it. You just want to do a really good clone, I think.

There are cobra specific drivetrain items too - the Cobra spec T5, 24# injectors, puter (needed for the MAF/injector interface) etc.
You know the cosmetic stuff.

Good luck and keep us posted on how it all goes. :nice:
