Lately I've been working on my driver mod, and then something dawned on me.
When I am making a run at the track, my tires break loose on the 1-2 shift and the rear end goes a wee bit sideways. Before I thought this was cool, but now I've been think it might be costing me some time due to the loss of traction.
Should I make the 1-2 shift at a little lower than normal, say 5000 or 5500 rpm so I don't break loose when I shift? Is the loss of traction on my 1-2 shift really hurting me all that much?
Does anyone else shift below 6K on the 1-2 shift?
Also I know that some kind of DR or ET street will help me out, but unless someone wants to buy me some DRs
